Goal: Texturing the Book Paper
This is what we are starting with ⬇️
1. Paper Material
- ❌ Before ❌
- ✅ After ✅
- The result ⬆️
- Turn on visibility of the point light ⬆️
- Select the book paper object ⬆️
- Disconnect the material ⬆️
- Create a new material ⬆️
- Change the material name ⬆️
- The result ⬆️
- Click the shield icon to save the material into the Blender file ⬆️
- Drag the “bookSide.jpg” image texture into the shader editor ⬆️
- Control + T while the node is selected ⬆️
- The result ⬆️
- Node connection ⬆️
- This isn’t the texture we want to achieve ⬆️
